Thanks for the CarzSpa team and especially Mr.Srinivas for explaining the details regarding PPF to me clearly.
Let's start with the question on why we need PPF ?
Answer is peace of mind.
I had ceramic coating done earlier. Ceramic coating is good for water repellent properties and adds a high glossy shine to the car paint. But it cannot protect against minor scratches.
Few incidents made me to take the decision of installing PPF.
1. Wherever we park the car, there are chances of people leaning against it. If they had sharp ornament, etc, it may even lead to scratches.
2. Someone passing near the vehicle and carrying any object can accidentally scratch the car paint.
3. Some people keep objects on the bonnet as well which can cause scratches.
4. In Bangalore traffic, some nearby vehicles causing minor scratches while driving are very much possible.
5. Kids playing around the car can even cause minor scratches.
6. Some people intentionally walk by rubbing their nails against car.
So If we install PPF, all above stuffs can be avoided easily.
With PPF, there can be around 5% imperfections while installing but the cost of the repainting in case of minor scratches can be avoided.
After PPF installation, when I came back to my parking spot in a hotel, I saw there were marks on the bonnet area like they have kept a luggage bag and dragged. But it did not create any marks at all.

Amazing Cleaning Service ! Srini and partner are my Go to guy for Car wash in this area. I like the way they treat the car with full care and do not take You for granted for your regular visits! I have seen this issue with other detailers in town where they tend to do so as they get old or You start visit them regular… But not here !! They are doing better everyday and are just the best in wash.
