I recently purchased a brand-new Volkswagen Taigun facelift in Deep Black Pearl, and the moment I decided on the colour, I also knew I wanted to get PPF done. So, I started looking for detailing studios near me.
There are quite a few detailing studios in Bengaluru, and choosing the right one was quite confusing. I collected quotations from at least 10 different studios. Some quoted exorbitant prices, while others quoted surprisingly low prices. On top of that, each studio had multiple brands, variants and thickness options, which made the decision even more difficult.
Things became much clearer when I visited Carzspa HSR Layout and met Mahesh. He patiently explained everything about the Aegis PPF they use, where it is sourced from, and the network they have through Carzspa studios across different cities in India. This gave me enough confidence to go ahead with them.
Immediately after taking delivery of my car, I handed it over to Mahesh. I had requested him to complete the work within two days, as I had a Muhurat Pooja scheduled for the car.
PPF installation involves dismantling several exterior parts, including the bumpers, tail lamps and other panels. I got to see the expertise of the person handling the dismantling, and I was also present when the parts were reassembled. Everything was handled very carefully, and the fitment was spot on.
I opted for their 195-micron PPF with a 5-year warranty. One thing I appreciated about Mahesh was that he didn’t push me towards their higher-end options just to increase the bill. Instead, he suggested that this package would be sufficient for a car in the ₹20 lakh price range.
The final finish came out really well. You would hardly notice that PPF has been applied to the car. I also got sunfilms installed, which have been quite effective. I can genuinely feel the difference in cabin heat, even when the car is parked outside.
I’m writing this review after using the car for more than a month, so this is based on my actual experience and not just the immediate finish after delivery.
Overall, Carzspa HSR Layout has done a really good job with my new car. I would definitely recommend them if you’re looking to get PPF done without going overboard on the budget. I can vouch for the craftsmanship, professionalism and the way Mahesh and his team handled my car.

Got a premium protection package for my car consisting of the Apex Borophane Graphene Coating (10H hardness, 7 years maintenance), Aegis Bonnet PPF (7 years warranty), and Aegis Film CX70 (70% VLT, 7 years warranty).
The paint now has an incredible, mirror-like gloss, the bonnet PPF application is flawless and completely invisible, and the CX70 glass film has drastically reduced cabin heat. Recently got PPF done on my brand-new Tiguan R-Line from Carzpa HSR Layout, and I‘m extremely happy with the overall experience.
I had visited a few other detailing studios before finalising Carzpa, but the quality, precision, and finish of their PPF work stood out clearly. The installation is neat, the edges are finished properly, and the overall fit and finish look excellent.
The team was professional, attentive to detail, and handled the car with great care. For a new car like the Tiguan R-Line, getting the PPF done right now was very important to me, and Carzpa definitely delivered.
